1, 2. I'm working on a plugin for 3.2 that will allow you to update a "library" playlist without entirely clearing and recreating it; it will also allow you to search the "library" for particular albums/artists.

3. Try increasing the audio buffer size.

First of all, happy new year 2012 and thank you for this great music player. I would like to add another one. The ability to read cue file would be a nice addition

Audacious already reads cue files. Happy new year.
