Audacious

Thank you for making such a nice software!

I'd like to use Audacious to DJ at social dances, which doesn't require mixing, but has some peculiar requirements.

One thing that'd be really helpful is to be able to pre-listen to songs using a different soundcard to listen to the song on headphones. Of course, using a different instance of audacious would do that, but I'd be interested in developping a plugin for that. I don't know much, but if the task doesn't seem to terrible, I'd be happy to take a stab at it. Does that seem like a relatively easy project?

The other thing that would be helpful would be the ability to lock controls to prevent inadvertly skipping a song or stopping the music. Does this one sound doable too?
