Audacious

Audacious has become my go to media player for large playlists but I have one basic question regarding it.

How come I cannot jump alphabetically in my library just by pressing keys like in other audio players. The jump feature is great (ctrl + j) but I find times where I just want to skip and find artists starting with 'b' or even 'bu' in my main library. I tried using ctrl + f but it seems flawed and doesn't follow what I require. Am I missing a plugin in the settings? Or something else obvious?

Can someone advise on this request?
