Audacious

I use the Global Hotkey plugin for Audacious and I noticed there is no option to activate quickly the equalizer. Should I add a feature request for that, or is it not worth it? The about window for that plugin says it was written within 2007-2008, so are the authors still active? Or could someone else do it?
