Improvement - Cover display window skinned
Added by Nicolas Cardoso over 11 years ago
Hi all,
First of all, thanks for the great program !
This proposition only concerns the Winamp/XMMS skinned interface.
First, the window which displays the cover of the album uses a native OS window. Then there's a thing quite annoying: every time I run Audacious, the cover window is displayed in the center of the screen, with default height/width while last time I used Audacious, it was near the main skinned window with modified size.
Both these issues can be solved in one improvement: using skinned interface instead of native OS look'n'feel for the cover display window. The last generation Winamp skin embeds graphical elements (the gen.bmp file) to skin any window. Moreover, the cover window size and position could be remembered like it is implemented for the playlist window.
If skinned cover window doesn't seem important, can you please at least give me a trick to keep this window in the same relative position to the main window, remembering size ?
(if I'm not clear about my proposition, I can provide screenshots!)
(note that I'm using Audacious with XFCE, I don't know if the behaviour of the cover window is the same for Gnome or Windows)
(you can find explanation about the gen.bmp file here: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=134725#gen )
Cheers!
