The crystalizer doesn't work

Audacious is 3.10.1, OS is Arch Linux Cinnamon x64 and the crystalizer plugin doesn't work. With the plugin enabled and disabled the sound is absolutely the same which means it doesn't work. The other plugins work but not this one.
Any ideas how to make it work?
