Subject.
Audacious - Bug #1171 (Rejected): Bring Audacious to foreground on launchhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/11712022-05-29T11:07:10ZArtem S. Tashkinov

This is a very annoying bug.

When you enable the systray plugin and exit Audacious when the application is minimized to the systray, next time you'll launch it, it will not show itself on the screen and start minimized to the systray right away.

Would be great to have an option to show the main application window when launching it or remain minimized in the systray for those who love it (e.g. use audacious via audtool).
Audacious - Bug #1086 (Rejected): Cannot play a flac online streamhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/10862021-04-11T10:47:46ZArtem S.
Audacious seems not to be able to save tags for/in Ogg/Opus files:

$ file Invisible.webm.opus.ogg
Invisible.ogg: Ogg data, Opus audio

Also for some reasons it uses the ffmpeg input plugin for playing such files. I've thought that Audacious supports Opus files natively.
Audacious - Bug #988 (Rejected): Audacious cannot be built with -fltohttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/9882020-05-17T11:08:47ZArtem S.
It would be great to have a play list column which represent an audio codec type, e.g. MP3, Vorbis, AAC, FLAC, Opus, etc.
Audacious - Feature #578 (Rejected): Immutable playlistshttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5782015-10-14T07:40:46ZArtem S. Tashkinov

Please make it possible to right click the tab of a playlist and mark the said playlist immutable so that it cannot be deleted or the delete button is hidden.
Audacious - Feature #553 (Rejected): History tab/pluginhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5532015-06-19T09:36:35ZArtem S. Tashkinov

It would be nice if Audacious kept a track/history of all played tracks in the following format:

Date started playing (Unix TS):Date stopped playing (Unix TS):Track ID (tag):Track URL
Audacious - Feature #533 (Rejected): Create a plugin(s) for showing waveform and spectrogramhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5332015-04-17T15:23:36ZArtem S. Tashkinov

It would be nice if waveform also showed clipping (as red vertical lines).

Spectrogram should be colored.
Audacious - Feature #176 (Rejected): Add "Window Restore" action for the Global Hotkey pluginhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1762012-09-16T13:08:00ZArtem S. Tashkinov

I often hide Audacious to the system tray and I want to restore Audacious' main window without moving mouse cursor to its systray icon.

(It would be nice to have this feature backported to Audacious GTK2 - some of us refuse to run/have GTK3 libraries and some distros simply don't have them).
Audacious - Bug #107 (Rejected): Audacious doesn't play online streams in FLAChttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1072012-05-06T23:42:43ZArtem S. Tashkinov

E.g. http://radio.cesnet.cz:8000/cro-d-dur.flac
Audacious - Bug #100 (Rejected): Library's sorting mode issueshttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1002012-04-19T01:48:49ZArtem S. Tashkinov

1) Library often forgets that I have chosen a certain sort mode

2) If I've chosen to sort by Artist, then sorting must be done strictly in this order:

Artist -> Album Name -> Track Number -> Track Name

Currently it's not always so - see the attached screenshot
Audacious - Feature #13 (Rejected): [crossfade] Add silence detectionhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/132011-12-21T14:39:53ZArtem S. Tashkinov

Currently it works by specifying a crossfade interval without taking into consideration the sound strength at the end of a current song and the beginning of a consequent song. I have quite a lot of songs which have up to 5 seconds of silence at the end of them, others have a considerable amount of silence at the beginning. Other songs have no silence at all, so there's no way I can specify the right interval to crossfade.

The only way to solve this problem is to preread the specified amount of seconds of audio data, calculate sound level and if it falls below a given value, crossfade should be called into action.

It's already implemented by http://www.eisenlohr.org/xmms-crossfade/ - I hope this plugin will be included into the future Audacious releases.
Audacious - Feature #7 (Rejected): A bunch of suggestions for Libraryhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/72011-12-20T19:05:50ZArtem S. Tashkinov

1. Make search bar permanently visible and place it between play buttons (Open, Add ...) and playback options buttons (repeat, shuffle, volume) - there's a lot of space for it, especially on modern wide screen displays (1920px width).

2. Make search work for all visible columns (e.g. I may want to see all songs from 2011, or all Classical songs, or songs containing the word "Love").

3. After the user enters a search query all playlist items not satisfying the search query should be automatically hidden, then - Ctrl+A -> Right Mouse click -> "Create a new playlist" out of these items. This will eliminate the need of the left column altogether.

4. On a first run Audacious should allow creating Library out of any number of user defined directories. File -> Library/Add Folder should show this dialog allowing the user to add/remove his favourite directories (see the attached screenshot).
