This is a very annoying bug.

When you enable the systray plugin and exit Audacious when the application is minimized to the systray, next time you'll launch it, it will not show itself on the screen and start minimized to the systray right away.

Tashkinov

This has been driving me insane recently.

I've got the only output device: my Bluetooth headphones, whenever I power them off, I have no output devices any longer. My default output plugin is set to Pulse Audio.

What happens when I try to play audio in this case is that Audacious chooses the next available output plugin automatically, it's FileWriter here, so I end up with dozens of written files on the disk which I do not want.

Please add an option to stick to the chosen output plugin and shut down playback completely in the case the output plugin throws an error.

Thank you.
Audacious - Bug #1086 (Rejected): Cannot play a flac online streamhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/10862021-04-11T10:47:46ZArtem S. Tashkinov

I'm curious if the disabled state of this option should be ignored when you're adding network streams.

I've now added a playlist with a 100 radio stations and Audacious started resolving the stations one by one which makes little to no sense.

I propose to ignore the state of this option for network streams or, alternatively, add a suboption "Don't load network streams metadata until played".

Strangely Audacious 3.7.2 is not affected: i.e. it doesn't load network streams metadata until played.
Audacious - Bug #107 (Rejected): Audacious doesn't play online streams in FLAChttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1072012-05-06T23:42:43ZArtem S. Tashkinov

1) Library often forgets that I have chosen a certain sort mode

2) If I've chosen to sort by Artist, then sorting must be done strictly in this order:

Artist -> Album Name -> Track Number -> Track Name

In Audacious 3.2-alpha1 tabs height is approximately 38 pixels, whereas in all previous Audacious versions tabs used to be much more narrow (I'd say around 24 pixels high).

The screenshot demonstrating this problem is attached.

I'm using gtk2-2.22.0
