Redmine Audacious - Bug #926 (Rejected): Need to press twice for shortcut to work http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/9262019-12-08T09:46:09Zaur as

It's so great to have global shortcuts available from Global Hotkeys Plugin. I like top use Super + F1 to Super + F5 as shortcuts like this:

Super + F1: Previous

Super + F2: Play

Super + F3: Pause/Resume

Super + F4: Stop

Super + F5: Next track

But I have to press Super + F5 twice to go to the next track. To reproduce:

Go to Plugins > Global Hotkey > Settings

Set Next track to Super + F5

Press Super + F5 once and see that nothing happens

Press Super + F5 quickly again, and the next track is played

If I set the shortcuts to something else like F1 for Previous track and Ctrl + F5 for Next track, it works fine. But those will conflict if I have a browser open, or another program, which is why I prefer Super + F1 to Super + F5, which haven't so far been used by another program.

Ubuntu 18.04
Audacious 3.10
Audacious - Bug #925 (Rejected): Shuffle stops playing next numberhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/9252019-11-29T12:01:25Zaur as

Ubuntu 18.04
Audacious 3.10

To reproduce
1. Enable Shuffle
2. Click next number, and nothing happens

To fix
1. Disable Shuffle
2. Click next number, and next number is played

Also, if playing from a playlist it will simply stop when the song is finished, and not continue to the next song.
Audacious - Support #881 (Closed): .deb-file or PPA with 3.10.1 for Ubuntu 18.04?http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/8812019-03-15T13:38:37Zaur as

I am using Ubuntu 18.04, and I see there is a webupd8 PPA with the latest version 3.10.1, but the webupd8 PPA updates a lot of other programs, not only Audacious.

I like to keep check on things on my computer, so it would be really great if the team behind Audacious created a .deb-file for easy Ubuntu and Debian installation, is this possible?

Alternatively you could offer a dedicated PPA for the latest Audacious for Linux.
