Redmine Audacious - Feature #711 (Closed): Support HTTPS and redirect to it by defaulthttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/7112017-03-15T18:41:29ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

Recent browser versions of Firefox [1] and Chrome show a warning in login pages with an insecure connection.
And since Let's Encrypt [2] provides free TLS certificates, there is no excuse for not supporting HTTPS.

[1] https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Protect-your-privacy/Insecure-password-warning-in-Firefox/ta-p/27861
[2] https://letsencrypt.org/
Audacious - Bug #275 (Closed): Website: Some links can't be opened as new tab with CTRL + Left clickhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/2752013-04-06T12:56:01ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

http://audacious-media-player.org/

The links in the header like "Home", "Downloads" and "Forums" cannot be opened in a new tab
with CTRL + Left click.

The same applies to "Read more" in the news section.
However the links to bug reports (like #228) are opened within a new tab.
Audacious - Bug #267 (Closed): skins: Different appearance of menushttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/2672013-03-08T23:19:14ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

The appearance of menus looks different with the Winamp interface.
Especially the background colour of the selection is not the same.
With some themes the text can be even unreadable (-> screenshots with Ubuntu).
Audacious - Bug #258 (Closed): scrobbler2: Segmentation faulthttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/2582013-02-24T00:56:50ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

If the new scrobbler2 plugin is enabled, I get randomly segfaults.
I did nothing except enabling it and playing some audio files.

A backtrace is attached.
Audacious - Bug #154 (Closed): Translation of string is not appliedhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1542012-07-28T22:32:01ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

The string "play multimedia files" which is shown
if you run "audacious --help"
is listed in the po files but the translations are not applied.

https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious/blob/master/src/audacious/main.c#L257
Audacious - Bug #141 (Closed): GTK error message when "Interface Preferences" dialog is closedhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1412012-07-03T00:52:28ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

Description:
If you close the "Interface Preferences" dialog, this error message appears:
(audacious:xxxx): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_selection_get_selected: assertion `GTK_IS_TREE_SELECTION (selection)' failed

How to reproduce:
1. Select the Winamp interface
1. Click View -> Interface Preferences
2. Close the dialog

Affects all versions of Audacious.
Audacious - Bug #140 (Closed): Winamp interface: Laggy time sliderhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1402012-06-30T18:11:36ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

The time slider in the Winamp interface became laggy with Audacious 3.3.
I've tested Audacious 3.1 and 3.2, both are not affected.

For a better explanation, two videos are attached.
Audacious - Bug #130 (Closed): Regression: Floating point exception if a file was moved and can't...http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1302012-06-16T01:16:06ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

Description:
If audacious can't open a file, a floating point exception occurs.

How to reproduce:
1. Open a single file with audacious
2. Close audacious and move the file to a different location
3. Open audacious again

Expected result:
audacious shows an error dialog like in 3.2

Actual result:
Floating point exception

Relevant audacious -V output:

probe.c:173 [file_find_decoder]: Probing file:///home/thomas/Rising%20of%20the%20Phoenix.ogg.
probe.c:123 [probe_by_scheme]: Probing by scheme.
probe.c:139 [probe_by_extension]: Probing by extension.
probe.c:111 [probe_func_fast]: Guessing Ogg Vorbis Decoder.
probe.c:65 [probe_func]: Trying Ogg Vorbis Decoder.
probe.c:49 [check_opened]: Opening file:///home/thomas/Rising%20of%20the%20Phoenix.ogg.
probe.c:58 [check_opened]: FAILED.
Audacious - Bug #129 (Closed): audacious-plugins can't be compiled without compiler optimizations...http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1292012-06-16T00:42:05ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

I've noticed today that various audacious plugins fail to compile
because NULL is undeclared.
Strangely this is only the case if you disable compiler optimizations.

An example is this error message:

voice_removal.c:58:1: error: 'NULL' undeclared here (not in a function)
Failed to compile voice_removal.c (plugin)!
make5: * [voice_removal.plugin.o] Error 1
make4: [all] Error 2
make3: [subdirs] Error 2
make2: [all] Error 2
make1: [subdirs] Error 2
make: * [all] Error 2

Is it better to include <stddef.h> for every failing plugin
or is it possible to define NULL in config.h?
Audacious - Bug #127 (Closed): resample: Translations of entries in combobox are not appliedhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1272012-06-12T16:16:05ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

Sample Rate Converter:

The methods in the combobox of the preferences window are shown in English
although I translated them today.
Other strings in the window are fine.

https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious-plugins/blob/master/src/resample/resample.c#L177
https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious-plugins/blob/master/po/de.po#L2072
Audacious - Bug #125 (Closed): Opening the preferences window causes a short sound delayhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1252012-06-11T14:57:09ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

If you open the preferences window, there is a short delay in playback.
This is only occurring with 3.3.

audacious -V prints:
effect.c:68 [effect_start]: Starting effects.

Is the delay caused by the effects?
Audacious - Bug #117 (Closed): cdaudio-ng: Translations are not appliedhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1172012-05-30T18:26:28ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

Title says all.
Probably caused by the transition to "PluginPreferences",
although other plugins don't have this issue.

By the way, the category "cdaudio-ng" is missing in this bugtracker.
Audacious - Bug #114 (Closed): Regression: "Show song numbers" and "Show leading zeroes" are no m...http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1142012-05-19T21:00:53ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

"Show song numbers" and "Show leading zeroes" in the preferences window
are no more adopted directly since this commit:

https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious/commit/fdb1d6ce99d6013afc761330adddd9e253d37ec9#diff-9

Would it be possible to get these lines back or is there an alternative to update the playlist window
so the changes are adopted without the need of pressing F5?
Audacious - Feature #22 (Closed): German translation updatehttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/222011-12-29T18:27:58ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de

Now again at 100 percent, thanks for merging.
Audacious - Bug #21 (Closed): Update bugtracker linkshttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/212011-12-29T17:21:47ZThomas Langethomas-lange2@gmx.de
