Redmine Audacious - Feature #588 (Rejected): filtered playlisthttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5882015-11-12T00:52:19Zil lumilore

I request that on the jump to song window that comes up when you hit "j" on a playlist, there be a toggle that says "only play these songs" that when selected makes audacious treat it like a filtered playlist and only select songs from that filter. That way if the user has a playlist that has many albums and they only want to play that album at the time (shuffled or not), they don't have to go through the trouble of creating a new playlist just for that one album.
Audacious - Bug #587 (Closed): since 3.7, double size has become extremely largehttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5872015-11-12T00:47:55Zil lumilore

since 3.7, when clicking double size in winamp skin, the size of the player becomes more than double size and takes up about 1/6th of the screen. Is it possible to make an option where the user selects what the size is? Triple the original size might be too large.
Audacious - Bug #538 (Rejected): There is no option to turn off fallbackhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5382015-05-02T02:44:09Zil lumilore

There is no option in the audacious settings to turn off tagging untagged files. There should be an option to not show when songs are untagged so that they display properly.
Audacious - Bug #537 (Rejected): Album appearing when no album tag sethttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/5372015-05-02T00:57:48Zil lumilore

I have song with nothing for album tag, and the display set to ARTIST - ALBUM - TITLE, but songs without an album tag still shows as if it did have a tag.
Audacious - Bug #483 (Rejected): audacious skips songshttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/4832014-11-30T03:23:30Zil lumilore

When shuffle is off and the currently playing song runs to the end, the next song or two is sometimes skipped. It started happening in 3.4 audacious and in the newest release as well. I tried gdb and it sometimes says that vorbis seek fails, but that doesn't seem related as that message doesn't always appear when songs are skipped, and the skipping happens with mp3 files. It does not happen when pressing next manually.
opensuse 3.2 x64, audacious 3.5.2

After installing audacious to the default /usr/local/bin, when configuring audacious-plugins, it will fail due to it not checking in that directory:
checking whether to use NLS... yes
checking where the gettext function comes from... libc
checking for AUDACIOUS... no
configure: error: Cannot find Audacious 3.5; have you installed Audacious yet?
Audacious - Bug #438 (Rejected): audacious doesn't seem to add lots of small wav files properlyhttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/4382014-04-27T07:05:25Zil lumilore

when drag and dropping a folder containing a bunch of small wav files (the sounds folder from the original half life), audacious doesn't seem to be able to play some of them from the playlist. It will skip over some of them randomly, and won't play them if they are double clicked. About 5% of the entries it will skip over. The files that it can't play change every time I remove and readd all of the files and if I manually add the file that it can't play, it will play that, so there's nothing wrong with the file itself.
Audacious - Bug #332 (Closed): metadata updating failed and other weird tag issueshttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/3322013-08-07T00:22:58Zil lumilore

When I load up certain ogg songs, audacious fails to read the tag data(track details). If I attempt to edit the tag data, it says metadata updating failed when save is clicked.

If I load the same song up in amarok, it does read tag data. If I edit the tags in mp3tag, it changes nothing in either amarok or audacious, so there maybe something weird with the file itself, but I have observed this behaviour over multiple files.

using 3.4, in kubuntu 13.04 x64
Audacious - Bug #217 (Closed): ogg vorbis tags do not updatehttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/2172012-11-25T06:12:50Zil lumilore

When updating the tags in track information for the title or album fields in ogg vorbis files in audacious 3.3.2, they never update. I hit save, close then reopen the track info window, and they are as they were.
Audacious - Bug #174 (Closed): ogg vorbis - track information - Cannot remove field datahttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1742012-09-08T21:04:35Zil lumilore

With ogg vorbis files, I can open track information and change the fields, but when trying to remove the contents of a field, I hit save, it says updated metadata successfully, but it never actually removes the data.
Audacious - Bug #119 (Closed): support the new GDK_SCROLL_SMOOTH event in GTK+ 3.4http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1192012-06-06T07:40:56Zil lumilore

In kubuntu 12.04 x64 and audacious 3.3, the volume is no longer controlled by the mouse wheel on main skinned window, where it did in 11.10. apparently due to the GDK_SCROLL_SMOOTH event in
GTK+ 3.4. Also, tilt wheel left and right no longer advance and rewind by 5 seconds.

The mouse wheel controlling the volume still works on the status bar icon.
Audacious - Bug #112 (Rejected): selected song advances before song has completed playinghttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/1122012-05-13T05:40:05Zil lumilore

When playing an ogg vorbis file, once the music gets close to the last few seconds, the blue highlight indicating what is selected and the boldening of the letters indicating what is currently playing (in gtk mode) will prematurely advance before the song is complete. This is most obvious with short music files, around 3s or less, where the highlighted playlist entry will immediately advance to the next entry. I first noticed this happening around 3.2
Audacious - Bug #84 (Closed): right click context menu displays wrong playlist advance statushttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/842012-03-22T23:02:58Zil lumilore

When I run the command "audtool --playlist-auto-advance-toggle", and then right click on the controls in skin-ui, the context menu does not update, where it says no playlist advance will wrongly either still have a checkmark or not, depending on it's previous status.
Audacious - Bug #36 (Closed): audacious consistently crashes when adding bad cue sheethttp://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/362012-01-08T05:32:13Zil lumilore

When loading a cue sheet for a flac file, the cue sheet had the "file" attribute misnamed with a .wav extension instead of .flac, so when adding it to the playlist I get a no such file or directory error, but the tracks still come up on the playlist. When actually trying to play from the playlist, audacious starts taking up 100% cpu and stops responding.
Audacious - Bug #26 (Closed): winamp classic interface shuffle button does not update when shuffl...http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/262011-12-31T21:33:23Zil lumilore

when using audtool to toggle shuffle, the shuffle button does not change its look to reflect the change in shuffle status. If you use audtool to toggle shuffle on, then the button will still show it to be off and won't change, and then clicking the shuffle button on the skin window once won't turn off shuffle because the skin window still thinks it was off.
