Bug #388
jack plugin automatically connects to all available ports
100%
Description
When using jack for output, the plugin automatically connects to all available ports which is not desirable with audio interfaces that have a lot of output channels (I have two with 10 analog and 10 digital outputs each).
The attached patch adds the choice "connect to all ports", "connect only to ports needed for all output channels" and "don't connect to any ports" (the latter can be used e.g. if connections are persisted with other programs providing a virtual patchbay like qjackctl) to the plugin preferences, as well as the option to print debug traces. I've also opened a pull request on github if you prefer that: https://github.com/audacious-media-player/audacious-plugins/pull/16
