Documentation.

Added by steve thrasher about 10 years ago

I recently installed Audacious on a machine running openSUSE 13.1 x86_64.

I was wondering if there's documentation available for it? I'd rather try and work my way through that than ask questions which are already addressed.

For example: Is there a way to have the currently playing song in the middle of the displayed play-list? I kind of like to know what's coming up.

1. Unfortunately, there is not much documentation.

2. Are you familiar with building source code? See if the attached patch does what you want.

I'll give it a shot when I get a chance.

Way, way, way back in days of yore I used to do a kernel build often, after changing one file (which caused me to stumbled upon the problems with extraterrestrial TCP/IP), had to do with the sound card, ethernet card, and COM1 squabbling over an IRQ. Intel 33Mhz 386 processor, took a long time to download the new source at 9600bps.

I'll let you know how it works out, probably in a month or so. Gonna be busy and on the road.

Awwww Krap! Just realized it was 486-33! See, I went to Korea for a business trip...it's amazing what a set of red silk sheets for the king-sized waterbed can get you...
