[Previous Post]: I created my own offline cddb but some CDs are identified and some show up blank - even though the CDDB server copied the information to my cddb.

Problem is that the disc's ACTUAL discid doesn't always match the file in the local database.

[What To Do]

download a copy of <discid>. It is a simple binary that reads the info off the disk. It turns out that the discid that the CDDB server put in my local directory doesn't match the discid.

All you need to do is run <discid> and get the correct id of the disk. Then, copy the file with the correct information - but the wrong id to a file with the name of the discid.
