Play 16bit/44.1K wav to output 24bit/96K

Hello,

I am using ALSA to play CD WAV in Linux, and my DAC is only support 96K/24bit.
When I play that WAV file, I capture the data send out from USB and show it is 96K sampling but only 16bit.
How can I make the resampling to 24bit output?

There is a Bit Depth option in the Audio Settings page.
