No metadata on .aiff files

Hi, the player is not picking up on metadata information. For example:

 $ mediainfo 03\ Transducer.aiff

Does anyone know how to fix this?

To be clear - the metadata exists on the .aiff file as shown from the mediainfo command above, but the metadata is not picked up by Audacious and displayed in the player. Only filename is shown.

Please provide:
- Version of Audacious
- Operating system and version
- Version of libsndfile
- config.log from audacious-plugins
- link to an example file that exhibits the problem
- output of "audacious -V" when playing the file
