LyricWiki Takes 80 Seconds to Fetch Lyrics

The LyricWiki plugin takes 80 seconds to fetch the lyrics. This has been happening for a little while now (don't ask me when it started). Anyone else experiencing this? Is this an issue with Audacious or lyrics.wikia.com?
I'm using latest Audacious from git on Debian sid,
