Audacious 3.10.1 won't hide upon closing the main window
Added by Oscar Bi over 4 years ago
Hi, I am a long-time user and don't know if this issue has ever been discussed before. What I have noticed is that, starting at some point of Audacious history, the reaction of closing the main window (either with mouse or the ctlr+f4 shortcut) has changed from collapsing the application to a single small menu icon to closing it completely.
I'd personally like to restore the old behavior, but how? For reference, I'm running KDE Plasma v5.17.5 on Fedora 31, and can't say if this is just a local issue. Thanks for any help,
Acsor

Try enabling the Status Icon plugin and also "Close to the system tray" in its settings.

That solves it! I stopped noticing it due to changing my system language to a foregin one. Thanks a lot ;).
