Play from folder tree structure possbile?

Hello,
I've searched a bit here, but could not find anything matching regarding my questions,
so please excuse if this was answered already.

Is there a possibility to activate a kind of folder tree structure in recent/future audacious versions?
I mean a tree view, which represents the hierarchical structure in my file system.

The reason is, I have organized all my albums already in a hierarchical folder structure in the file system.
(E.g. Clementine, Strawberry, Cantata, Foobar2000 are capable to do this).
Maybe there is plugin for this, I was not able to find it.

My system is Manajaro Linux KDE and Windows 10.

I have the same request. I tried DeadBeeF but couldnt get the folder view plugin working, even after adding a folder, still see default view.
This is on Ubuntu 20.04.

I am shocked there is no audioplayer with a folder based library available for Ubuntu :(

Hello,

as stated in my OP, for linux there are e.g. Clementine, Strawberry, Cantata with folder view.
