vqf files sound crappy

Description
Playing some sample vqf files, they sound really crappy in audacious. They play, but there's an extreme noise.
This happens for example on this file:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/vqf/achterba.vqf
However, it does not happen on all vqf files, some play just fine, e.g. this sample:
http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/vqf/Action_in_The_Street.vqf

- Target version set to 3.2
It's reproducible. Anyway, both files play fine with Audacious 3.2 (FFmpeg 0.9.1). 3.2 is our latest stable release. Please upgrade to it.
