Audacious

I noticed, that audacious reads the file everytime from start when I jump to another postion.
As I usually listen to long mix tapes, I often face this issue. Especially on slow file systems or heavy IO.

I using Audacious since ~ 5 years on Gentoo linux and noticed this with every version up to current stable.

Is that behavoir "work as desiǵned" If yes, are there plans to fix it?
