Scrobbler 2.0 Network Issues in the Windows Audcious Version 3.5
Added by Chad Lee over 10 years ago
Greetings.
I downloaded Windows Audcious Stable Version 3.5. Mostly it works fine, but I have problem with default Audacious Scrobbler 2.0 Plugin. (The program version is, Windows version 3.5.)
When I trying to 'Check Permission' in Scrobbler Plugin, it doesn't give a permission and it shows message like; "Network Problem. There was a problem contacting Last.fm. Please try agian later. Don't Worry. Your Scrobbles are saved on your computer." (attachments)
I've searched in this forums about problems. so I've also installed OpenSSL, libcurl follow the forums solutions. (like http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/321) but I can't solved that problem. How can I solve that problems?
P.S. Additionally, I use Windows 7.

Unfortunately the Scrobbler is not going to work in Windows currently (due to OpenSSL having no way to access the necessary certificates). Something to that effect should have probably been mentioned in the release notes, but it slipped my mind.

If scrobbling on Windows is an important feature to you, I'd suggest using a different music player for now -- unless you want to write some code to get it working in Audacious (which would be awesome).
