Customizable toolbar?

Added by Raster Gotolei about 10 years ago

There's some buttons that I never use that just take up space (search, add folder, add files) and there's some functions that I use pretty often that don't have buttons (no playlist advance, stop after this song).

Could there be an option to choose which toolbar buttons do/don't show? Something like how Playlist Columns are handled in 3.5, or even how Nemo does it (https://i.imgur.com/KurkFrC.png), doesn't seem like it'd be too difficult to fit in the appearance settings.

Adding on to that, could there be a way to make a toolbar button out of any given menu item?

This functionality is not likely to be added to the Gtk+ version as it is a fairly involved change. We might add it to the Qt native UI, but that is eventually going to be built from QML, so you could just eventually customize the QML to look however you want.
