Problem with playlists consisting of remote files

Hey,

when I import a playlist which consists of links to remote audio files (for example generated by http://www.commoradio.net/) and start playing it, Audacious becomes unresponsive. Importing and playing the same list with Clementine works though.

What network protocol and what version of Audacious are you using?

I'm using Audacious 3.2.1 on Arch Linux, 32bit. The links in those generated files simply point to files on a ftp server, like 

#EXTINF:241,Vividness
http://ftp.df.lth.se/pub/media/soamc/soamc_mp3/Digibooster/Dan/digi.vividness_T01_MIX.mp3

I'm still using Audacious v2.5.3 under Ubuntu 10.04, so I don't know if this will help.

If I create a .m3u playlist on my desktop without the line, "#EXTINF:241,Vividness", and drag 'n drop the playlist into an Audacious playlist window, it works just fine.

Andre, I copied the two lines you pasted into an .m3u files, and it plays perfectly here. If you attach to the audacious process with gdb and create a backtrace when it becomes unresponsive, that might help to figure out why it is not working for you.
