Drag and drop from desktop not working on KDE

After the discussion in https://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/964, I am creating a forum topic as advised.

System Description

  • OS: Manjaro Linux, updated to latest and greatest (on 20 April).
  • Desktop: KDE
  • Desktop Layout: Folder (so I can put files there)
  • Audacious version: 4.0.2
  • Audacious interface: Qt

Description of the problem

Dragging and dropping files from the Desktop fails. However, if for example, open the Desktop folder in Nemo and drag files from there, it works. So, there is something wrong with dragging from the Desktop itself. See the attached video (never mind the flickering, it is a ffmpeg issue).

I forgot to mention I installed Audacious from the official repositories, using Octopi (the standard GUI package manager for Manjaro).

I'm also on Manjaro KDE and Drag and Drop works for Qt Interface, but NOT for Windows Classic interface.

Kernel version: 4.19.118-1-MANJARO
OS type: 64-bit
Audacious version: Audacious 4.0.2 (Arch Linux)
