Minor interface problem after update -- down arrow doesn't work in search

I just reinstalled Audacious after reinstalling my OS ( Mint 13 to Mint 14 -- I'm not sure whether it's the same version of Audacious I had before ).
The problem I have is that when I search for a song, I can't use the down arrow to go to the next song in the search bar. When I press it, I lose focus on the textbox, and on the whole search tool actually. Then, if I select the toolbox, I get a lag of 2-3 seconds until I can write again.
