Audacious

Hi there,

I have been using Audacious on Windows XP x32 machine without any problems for quite some time- since version 3.1.2. I got a new laptop with Windows 8, used version 3.3.4, it worked fine, then I updated it to version 3.4 without any problems either. But when I downloaded version 3.4.1 the problems began. I started Audacious but it did not load, I saw the process in the task manager, I waited for it to load but Audacious 3.4.1 never loaded. Then I deleted the Audacious folder in App Data and then Audacious 3.4.1 finally loaded but it could not play anything, there was always an error message- "SDL error: Failed to open audio stream: XAudio2: XAudio2Create() failed at open..". I deleted Audacious 3.4.1, but Audacious 3.4 could not run before I deleted the Audacious App Data folder again. So Audacious 3.4 works fine on Windows 8 x64 machine but Audacious 3.4.1 does not. Please see the screen-shots below showing Audacious 3.4 playing and Audacious 3.4.1 failing ti play the same tracks.
