Possible to keep "Stop After This Song" on?

Added by Kyle Bieneman over 10 years ago

Hi folks, just installed Audacious, and I was wondering if there's a way to keep the "Stop After This Song" function from automatically toggling off after a song. What I'd like to be able to do is set up a playlist, hit play, have it play the first track, and then stop. I hit play again, it would play the second track and stop. Hit play again, third track and stop.

At the moment, when I turn on "Stop After This Song," it plays the first track and stops, queuing up the 2nd track, exactly as I want. However, when I hit play, it plays the 2nd track and immediately goes on to play the 3rd track without stopping. In other words, the "Stop After This Song" toggle automatically turns off after a single track.

Is there any way to keep the "Stop After This Song" function on without having to keep hitting it for each track? Thanks!

No, there isn't. You would probably be better off using "No Playlist Advance" instead. You'll have to hit "Next" manually before you hit "Play", though.
