*Locate File on Disk* plugin
Added by George Sgouros over 7 years ago
I am searching for a plugin which does the following:
If user selects a song in Audacious playlist and presses a shortcut (e.g. ctrl+shift+f), then a nautilus window opens with the actual file already selected (thus facilitating the process of deleting, renaming or moving the actual file that is being played in Audacious)
Do you happen to know if such a plugin exists?
If not, is there any info which could help me write one?
thanks in advance

There is no need for a plugin, this feature is already built-in.
Right-click on a song and select "Open Containing Folder".

I can't reproduce this, when I click on "Open Containing Folder" a new playlist with the tracks in the folder opens but not Nautilus, Thunar etc.

What is the output of "xdg-mime query default inode/directory"? See the Arch Linux wiki [1] for more details.

Thank you very much for fixing my problem, it was set to audacious.desktop. I changed it to Thunar.desktop instead and now it works.
