LADSPA Plugin support gone?
Added by Darryl Roe about 6 years ago
I recently tried out 3.10 built from AUR repository (I'm a Manjaro user), and noticed that the LADSPA plugin is no longer included. Has it been permanently dropped or will it return in future releases?

You should check with the AUR package owner. LADSPA support is still present in the upstream release.

Good to know. I did check, and the response I received:
twa022 commented on 2018-08-01 12:25 @dtr: I looked at the configure.ac file and the ladspa plugin is not available when building with qt5. It is still available when building with gtk2, so if that's essential for you, you should stick with the version from extra for now.
I also tried building from source, but I ran into an error when I got to running configure for Audacious Plugins after building/installing Audacious:
configure: error: Cannot find Audacious 3.10; have you installed Audacious yet?(I worked around that error before with earlier versions, but forgot how I did it and can't seem to figure it out right now).
Thanks.

You didn't say which AUR packages you are using, but these are still built with GTK:
