Audacious 4.0b - No audio output

Hello,

I have been testing Audacious 4.0-beta1
No sound on player

I complete install and compile quest with audacious and audacious plugins without error

I cannot change output from "Output to file" to "Pulseaudio" or ALSA
It just doesn't see it

sorry for error

OS Linux Mint 19.3 x64 with latest updates and kernel 5.3

Im used:
audacious-4.0-beta1.tar.bz2 (560 KB)
audacious-plugins-4.0-beta1.tar.bz2 (1.7 MB)

Open the Log Inspector and see if it prints any errors while playing audio?

What is Log inspector and how using it?
No errors, just no sound
Player not allows select any oprocz Output for file

i not found it

I play 10 tracks, and i see 10 new WAV files in my home folder

That's what the "Output to file" output plugin does. Probably you didn't enable any other output plugin when you compiled audacious-plugins.

Im used:
audacious-4.0-beta1.tar.bz2 (560 KB)
audacious-plugins-4.0-beta1.tar.bz2 (1.7 MB)

Uninstall those and use the version of Audacious provided by Linux Mint. No offense, but you don't (yet) have the technical background to be successful installing Audacious from source.
