Same as on Linux: first switch to the Winamp Classic Interface and then drop a .wsz file onto the main window.
Edit: This may not currently work though. See #859.

Unfortunately I tried 5 skins from this website and dropped them in the main window (in winamp player mode), but the skin doesn't change and the skin also not appears in the settings window.
So dropping it in the main window doesn't do anything (I use windows 10, latest audacious version)

Did I found a bug?
thx

Is there a way to manually install winamp skins in the windows version?
And if yes, how to do it?
I reported this as a bug.
Why was it removed?!?

Don't submit bug reports for known issues that have already been reported (#859).
You can install a skin manually by changing the .wsz extension to .zip and then extracting it under AppData/Local/audacious/Skins, like this:

John Lundgren:
In the Windows edition of audacious, the BMP files in WinAMP have to be changed to PNG files in order for Audacious to use the skins at all. Can BMP support be re-added to the Windows version of Audacious as well?

The Windows edition of Audacious does not support BMP files in Winamp Skins, so can support for BMP files be re-added to the windows edition of Audacious? I was originally having issues getting Winamp skins to show up correctly and apparently, the BMP issue was the reason for that:

The BMP loading issue was fixed quite some time ago. The current version of Audacious supports BMP files just fine.

I think Winamp Classic skins are still not working on the Windows version of Audacious. I tried all of the skins I have and none of them work on Windows. They work on Linux though. Version 4.1.

Where would I find the equivalent in linux? I'm trying to use winamp skins and dragging/dropping doesn't work.
