Audacious always using 3rd layer directory as the title/artist/album of every song
Added by BetaMaster 1 about 3 years ago
the directory for all my music is /mnt/Data/Home/Music, and every song uses Home as the artist, or the album if the song already has the artist filled in
this is fine for mp3s, i can edit the info on those, but i have lots of tracker music in my playlist and i can't edit them
this only happens on the songs converted from my winamp playlist

You can turn off "Guess missing metadata from file path" in the Advanced settings page.

It only makes a difference, if you remove your files from the playlist and add them again. Obviously, for tracker modules and other files which are lacking metadata, Artist and Album fields will be empty then.

Scratch the previous post. Toggling the option changes Artist/Album here.
