old winamp skin called swankamp

Added by Bored Silly over 11 years ago

Hi I am sure there use to be an option in audacious to allow older skins to load and this gave me the ability to use my favourite old skin called swankamp ( http://customize.org/winamp/skins/4346 )
Now I can't seem to find that option, has it been removed? Is there now no way to use it as an audacious skin?

Hi, skins can be configured at "View -> Interface Preferences".

I realise how to setup a winamp skin in audacious and for most winamp skins this works fine. There is just something non complaint about this skin (which loads fine in winamp) I seem to remember at some stage there was an option to allow older non complaint skins to load which allowed this skin to display. Now that option is removed from the gui, I was wondering if its still can be applied in the config file somehow. Thanks for the help by the way.

It's a Winamp 1.x skin, so it's missing some files that Audacious needs. Copy eq_ex.png, eqmain.png, pledit.png, and pledit.txt from some other skin and it will work.
